Pellys LLP was founded in 1971 by Roland Pelly, who continues to work for the firm as a consultant, specialising in Road & Transport.
Today this commercial LLP practices from offices in Bishops Stortford and Saffron Walden. The Company and Commercial
Team is the largest team, undertaking all types of company and commercial work, including commercial property and residential property (for an instant on-line conveyancing quote please click on the banner at the top right of this page and follow the link) the team
also incorporates Employment. It is supported by Dispute Resolution, Personal Estate Planning, Transport and Matrimonial.
Pellys LLP, expanded into new offices in Saffron Walden in 2005 in order to assist with increasing business volumes. The expansion is
part of a strategic plan for growth and also to respond to significant demand for its specialist legal services from clients
who already live in Saffron Walden and in the many surrounding villages.
The Saffron Walden office is staffed by Margaret Porter who is a Member of Pellys LLP and a family law specialist,
Andrew Arnold who runs the Dispute Resolution Team, plus Andrew Robinson who runs the residential conveyancing operation.
At Pellys LLP we believe in taking a progressive, pro-active approach to our Clients' business. We place particular emphasis on
clear communication - both in listening to our clients' instructions and in outlining our legal proposals. As a result, our
clients are better placed to exploit opportunities, assert their rights and protect their interests more effectively.
Staff at Pellys LLP are keen supporters of charity and in 2006 raised money for cancer research.
Here's what our clients have to say about us:
"This is a transaction I expected to be very difficult, living in Prague,
finding and selecting a solicitor, finding a buyer, organising the contracts, managing the termination of tenancy and handover. All of this has been achieved without me entering the country. I have never met any of you face to face. Telephone conversations have been limited. To sum it up this has been one of the most difficult set of circumstances to complete a real estate transaction in and yet it has been the best service I ever received".
