Here are the Top Excuses we've recieved..

"For a while we had a client who were always slow and always had an excuse. On one occasion I phoned and was told a cheque was definitely going in the post. Two days later I received an envelope containing a compliment slip with a message saying 'I'm sorry that you haven't got a cheque but I posted the envelope before I realised I'd forgotten to enclose the cheque'."

"Your cheque was in the cheque run to be done next Wednesday but because you`ve chased us we`ll bring it forward so that it goes in next months!!"

"I'm sorry we did put the cheque in the post but the post box has been demolished by a lorry and some of the letters may have been lost. Would you ring me back in a few days time if you haven't received the cheque and we'll put another one in the post."
