1. Can I recover a sum of money owed, together with costs and interest? This is possible but will depend, among other things, on the terms of any contract under which the money is owed, the amount owed and the method of recovery you use. In order to act in such matter, we would require full details of the debt and copies of any paperwork. We do offer a fixed fee debt collection service, currently for letters before action and preparation of statutory demands only.

There are various types of alternative dispute resolution (known as "ADR") which can be used either instead of or as a precursor to litigation. These include arbitration, mediation, expert determination and adjudication. Andrew Arnold trained and worked in London until 1990 following which he spent 15 years at a practice in Saffron Walden. Andrew joined Pellys Solicitors Ltd in May 2005 with responsibility to develop the Pellys Solicitors Ltd office in Saffron Walden. Andrew's role as Team Leader of the Debt Collection Team is to manage and develop the team and build up a predominantly commercial caseload. Andrew became a partner of the firm in February 2010.
