Andrew has over 20 years of experience and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

He specialises in all aspects of employment and general litigation, representing both employees and employers, as well as landlords and tenants.

When he is not at work, Andrew can often be found on the golf course or enjoying trips to London, where he loves to socialise.

With over 20 years of experience as a legal executive, he specialises in all forms of residential conveyancing. His expertise includes the sale and purchase of properties, buy-to-lets, and assisting first-time buyers.

Andrina provides valuable support to her colleagues who help people with the process of residential development, strategic land acquisition and general commercial property matters including Leasehold transactions such as new leases, subleases and assignment of leases for both landlords and tenants, acquisitions and disposals of commercial and mixed use property, including retail, office, leisure and industrial properties. Andrina also provides additional support assisting the business’ needs in relation to Lender Panel applications and IT Support.  

I live in East Cambridgeshire and enjoy spending quality time with my family and also spending time in my Craft Shed where I design (and make) sublimation, vinyl, HTV, Printed Cards & Stationery, Wedding Items and Gifts  

I’ve had 40 years’ experience in working in Legal covering Conveyancing, Litigation, Personal Injury and Employment Law and Probate department. 

Assisting the probate department in drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney and collating Estate Accounts and probate work for the past 6 years.

Claire Bell is a Senior Associate Solicitor who heads up our Biggleswade Residential Conveyancing Team. Claire is an experienced solicitor who has been qualified since 2004.  Claire specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing including:

Before joining Pellys, Claire during her career has worked in a number of large firms and was the Head of Conveyancing at her previous firm.  She has built strong relationships over her long career with clients and agents, which has resulted in Claire having a large following of repeat clients and agents.  Claire invests a lot of time and effort in ensuring that her client’ s expectations and goals are achieved and takes great pride in delivering a personalised service to each of her clients, which is evidenced in her reviews. 

Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with her family, going to the theatre, visiting new places and reading.

I spend as much time at home with my family as possible, but outside of that I have been a volunteer at Shelford Rugby Club for several years.  

I work in the Private Client department and have been in the role for 2 years. My main responsibility is to provide support to Daniel Whiddett. In my free time, I enjoy exercising.

I enjoy a good day or two in London or Brighton (mainly the bars)! Although, I much prefer staying in, sat on the sofa under a cosy blanket, binge watching a series with my two English Bulldogs and two extremely fluffy cats!! 

Ian is our Accounts and Office Manager, responsible for overseeing the accounts department.

7 months in this role but previously several years as a Conveyancing Assistant within a legal firm.

Lucy Gold qualified as a Solicitor in 2020, moving into the Private Client team in 2021 specialising in drafting wills , lasting power of attorneys, estate administration and related matters. With her patient and friendly approach, Lucy is committed to providing the best possible and straightforward service, tailored to her client’s specific needs.  

In her spare time she loves going for long walks with her dog and spending time with friends and family.  

Martin qualified as a solicitor in 2014 and has 10 years’ experience in all areas of private family law. Before joining Pellys Martin was a partner at a medium sized law firm based in Bedford.  

Martin prides himself on breaking down complicated legal principles and explaining them in plain English. Martin is often described as a formidable advocate with a keen eye for detail. He can undertake all levels of advocacy and is not one to shy away from difficult discussions, be it with a client, the other party or the court!  

Martin’s main areas of work are:

Away from work, Martin enjoys spending time with his family. When he is not chasing his son round the garden aimlessly (with a view to tiring him out), he is an avid sports fan (mainly F1, Cricket) and enjoys watching and playing Golf – which usually equates to him wandering around aimlessly looking for his ball in woodland and building sandcastles in the bunker when he can’t find it!  

I have been working in the legal field in an administrative capacity for over 20 years.

I assist Claire with many of the administrative aspects of the conveyancing process and no two days are the same, though I mostly deal with transactions from exchange onwards to completion, registration and other post completion matters.  I am also a point of contact for clients, solicitors and estate agents wanting updates or assistance.   

I enjoy art and art history, reading everything from the newspaper and comic books to novels and anything else, listening to all sorts of music and spending time in nature.

With over 20 years of experience, Nigel specialises in all aspects of entertainment law. He has extensive experience acting for bands, managers, and record labels, particularly in handling any contractual disputes they may face.

Rachel has been working in law firms in Saffron Walden since 1986, the last 17 years of which have been with Pellys. 

Rachel works as a legal assistant supporting our Private Client Department and has previously worked in several other areas of law within the firm. 

Away from work, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends.  Drinking wine and walking (not usually at the same time!)  She also enjoys reading, spa days and spending huge amounts of time making a fuss of her rescue cat – she is that mad cat woman!

I have worked in the legal sector for over 30 years in various different areas of law but for the last 14 years I have worked in residential conveyancing 

Main areas of work:  Assisting Claire Bell the Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor in the residential conveyancing process from start to finish, where no two days are the same. 

Outside of work I enjoy reading and going to both the cinema and the theatre.  I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. 

Stephen qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and has over 25 years of experience in all areas of conveyancing. Before joining Pellys, he was a partner at a well-established, medium-sized law firm with offices in Chelmsford and Cambridge. In 2000, he became one of the youngest law firm partners in the country at the time.

He greatly enjoys the fast-paced nature of modern conveyancing, as well as building strong relationships and friendships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders in the housing sector. Over the course of his career, he has completed more than 10,000 freehold and leasehold transactions and takes particular pleasure in helping young first-time buyers achieve their dream of home ownership.

Stephen has handled a wide range of residential conveyancing transactions but has a particular interest in:

• New-build plots

• Auctions

• Buy-to-let properties

• Lease extensions

• Staircasing

Outside of work, Stephen practises the Korean martial art of Taekwondo, achieving the distinction of a second dan black belt. He is also a qualified TAGB instructor and referee. Over the years, he has trained hundreds of adults and children, many of whom have progressed through the belt system and won medals and trophies at regional, national, and international championships. He has also competed himself, though he is reluctant to reveal just how successful he has been!

Main areas of work: Estate administration from Grant of Probate applications to full administration, preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts. Advice on related tax matters. 

I like to spend time with my wife and young son, I read both fiction and non-fiction, and I try to attend as many Morrissey gigs as I can.  

Sue has recently joined Pellys in January working on the Front Desk as a Receptionist and Business support duties.  Before joining Pelly’s Sue worked for 12 years as an Sales Negotiator for a local Estate Agent, covering all aspects of agency from securing a sale to completions.   Prior to that she owned a Silver Jewellery Shop in Biggleswade for many years. 

Sue is originally from Manchester and relocated to Biggleswade 23 years ago.  She has also lived in Cyprus for a couple of years. 

When Sue isn’t working, she likes a glass (or two) of wine. Sue is a Manchester United fan and likes to go to games when she can.  She also likes going to concerts (Rock Music).  Recently she has visited Thailand, New York, Vegas, LA and San Francisco. 

Teresa started work in the legal sector as a Secretary/PA in 1991.  She trained and qualified as a Fellow of the, now Chartered, Institute of Legal Executive in October 2000 and has worked principally as a Private Client Lawyer dealing with Wills, LPAs and Estate Administration since then.   

 Teresa prides herself on organisation skills and attention to detail; often in the most difficult of times she will show compassion and will explain legal principles and processes in plain English to make the process as easy as possible.   

Teresa’s main areas of work are:  

• Advising the bereaved and dealing with the Estate Administration of Estates whether the deceased died with or without a Will  

• Advising on and Preparing Wills  

• Advising on and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney  

• Dealing with the Registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney  

Away from work, Teresa enjoys spending time with her friends and family and enjoys reading.

As main receptionist in our head office (Saffron Walden) my duties include welcoming clients, answering incoming calls and emails. Generally dealing will any new enquires.

Vangeya has worked for a number of Legal 500 and Legal 200 firms in the past with 10 years experience and brings a wealth of experience to the commerical property team.

When not reviewing leases and options agreements, Vangeya enjoys being in the outdoors, cooking and entertaining or working on material for her podcast.

I have been working in law for well over 20 years, mainly employment and family law. At Pellys, my role is to assist the family department in resolving challenging issues for clients in matters relating to all aspects of a relationship breakdown.  

In my spare time, I enjoy watching any kind of reality TV, but especially The Traitors and Love Island (the “All Stars” version can be a bit boring though). When I am not immersed in watching reality TV, I can be found out on a long walk with my daughter, dining out or staying in watching Spurs play/lose.
